Goodbye RealFast ... Hello ZipForms!

One final check … everyone is using and loving ZipForms now right???!  I know you are busy and this is “one more thing” to learn, but you will love ZipForms!  Promise.

You ALL have access to ZipForms.  This web-based form program will work with every browser except Google Chrome right now and has a mobile app that you can purchase for your iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Palm Treo smartphones.  Apple users can rejoice because ZipForms will run in Safari and the mobile app works with both the iPad 1 and 2.

Start here:  www.zipformonline.com

You will need to “enable pop-ups” for the site and likely require an updated version of Java to run ZipForms.  Just follow the instructions on your screen to enable pop-ups (always for this site) and install the Java update.  Finally, you will have to “click to accept” the 14 month storage policy and YOU’RE IN!

Now is the time to learn this new online program for our PAR forms before the RealFast license runs out at the end of August.  All summer long I’ve been training you on ZipForms in your offices, via webinar and in our weekly video release.  I have posted all of the materials that I created, plus a few from ZipForms here:  www.cbhearthside.net in the LEARN box, click on Education Library, locate and click on the Hearthside Technology folder and you will see a ZipForms folder with all sorts of goodies including, but not limited to ...

Goodbye Yahoo ... Hello GMail!

In case you missed it, I broke up with Yahoo last week. I expect it will be a long drawn out process that will end with me changing logins, getting my contacts and other stuff I care about and walking out of the door. The long drawn out part is because they are charging me and in order to forward or pop my Yahoo email. So, I paid my $20 bucks for the year and started moving out.

In my travels to your offices, I know that many of you are facing the same challenge. You love GMail, but you've had that darn Yahoo email for so long :( I get it. Breaking up is hard to do, but I am committed to moving on ... I mean GMail is (1) FREE and (2) awesome. But I talk about GMail all the time, so you already know that part.

Cool New Features on Your Facebook Business Pages!

Exciting stuff -Facebook is changing the game again and adding all sorts of rockin new features to your Business Pages!

For the next month you have the option to "Preview" these changes on your page. Do it! All pages will be upgraded on March 10th anyway ... so get in now and be ahead of the curve.

Check out the *new* look!















So what's new ... well, per Facebook:

Notifications when fans interact with your page or posts

A place to showcase photos along the top of your page

A news feed for your page

The ability to Like and post on other pages as your page

So let's break it down. The first thing you will notice is that you Business Page looks more like your personal profile now. Bonus >>> you can interact on Facebook as your business page and comment on posts or photos, check out your pages notifications (who is liking, posting, etc) and basically "use" Facebook as your Business Page!








Sound confusing? I have a great example. I run and manage the company Facebook Page. Now, I can comment on your posts and photos as CBH (rather Another hugely awesome thing about this - I can get notifications on all of my Business Pages. Now, when someone writes to me on the CBH page, I will notified in the same manner that I am notified on my personal profile. Currently, when you all comment and post on there - I get nothing. I just happen to go in and check it regularly.

The photo showcase is nice on Business Pages because your photos were sort of buried on there before ... now they have a little showcase bar:










Bonus - mouse over a photo and click the X if you want to hide that particular photo from the showcase!

I am loving the Newsfeed on the Facebook Business Pages! Why? I get to see all of my industry updates from the other Business Pages I follow. Pretty cool.
























Some very cool stuff from Facebook! Remember that you still need to be social on your Business Pages ... participate in the conversation - don't just broadcast and leave! Getting notifications on your Business Pages will allow you to connect with your consumer when they post - instead of the next time you remember to go to your Business Page.

Browser Basics

Getting Started with LeadRouter

Coldwell Banker Hearthside, REALTORS uses LeadRouter to route leads from various sites to YOU our agents. Statistics show that consumers are more than likely to work with the first agent that gets back to them - and we want that agent to be our agent!

The LeadRouter system is not difficult to learn, but it does require a short training session to get familiar with the program and learn how to enter your information and updates.
