Traditionally, we bookmark a site when we want to go back to it - sites we need for work or just that we find interesting. Social Bookmarking gives us the best of both worlds. My bookmarks are all still listed when I open my browser each morning, BONUS - I can share links in a flash and my Delicious feed goes to my social networking sites so the agents can see what I am finding.

Two things to think about with social bookmarking: creating tags and sharing nicely. When you save a website with a social bookmarking site, you will need to apply "tags" to the site. These are just descriptive words that will help to identify and classify the sites you are saving. Then there is the sharing part ... share as much or as little as you want - send links individually or pull a feed into your social networking sites.
The coolest thing about social bookmarking is what you get in return. Loads of people are out there sharing sites with you too and you can access those quickly and easily now. Sites like StumbleUpon even suggest sites for you based on your interests!!!
There are loads of great sites for social bookmarking, here are a handful:
Delicious
StumbleUpon
Digg
Technorati
