TGIF & Importing Contacts

Okay, so I have two readers! Life is good. This morning I moved out of my office in Pottstown. I don't have an office yet in Willow Grove, so for now, everything (my entire car was filled) came home.

A handful of you have asked me about moving contacts into the Hside email program. This can be accomplished in the following way ...

If your contacts are in AgentAchieve, login and click on "Contacts"
On the left menu, click on "Import/Export" (all the way at the bottom)
Click the radio button that says "Export ..."
Click "Next"
By default, all of your contacts are selected here, click, "Show selected group members" to view
Click "Next"
Click "Export All Fields"
Click "Export Contacts!"
A pop-up will appear, click "Save" and remember where you saved the file!

Important Note -- this will not remove your contacts from AgentAchieve, it will only copy them

Feeling better? Good, let's resume. Now for the import ...

Login to your Hearthside Email
Click on "Contacts"
Click the "import/export" button at the top middle of the page
Click "Browse" and select your contact file that we just exported from AA
Click "Open" and then "Continue"

Here is the super fun part - matching the fields! Use the drop-down arrow in the "Corresponding Field Name" category to select the correct match to each field in the "Original" category.

For example: first name --> first name

Once you have completed the matching game, click "Ok"

That's it! Your contacts are in :) Email me with questions.
