Micro-blogging with Twitter and FriendFeed

I know that some of you are still getting used to the idea of "blogging" and I here I am wanting to discuss "micro-blogging". Am I out of my mind? Some would say yes. Personally, I think micro-blogging is an easy concept to wrap your head around.

Consider Twitter ... all you have to do is answer one question, "What are you doing?" That it's - one question the only caveat being that you have to answer in 140 characters or less. I get some great ideas/insights/information and more from my twitter friends, affectionately known as "twits".

Before getting involved, be a voyeur ... read twitter posts without being on Twitter through Twellow. Twellow breaks all of the Twitter posts into user-friendly categories or search by person to see all posts from that user.

Looking for a more robust micro-blogging app? Try FriendFeed - update and follow your family and friends through posts, photos and more.

Micro-blogging is a great first step into blogging. Start writing - follow some folks - write some more - get some followers - the FUN never ends!!!

So, what are you doing now?
