I hope everyone has cooled off now that we are back in the low 80’s for the weekend. Today is Friday the 13th and I am super psyched about seeing the new M. Night movie, “The Happening”. The trailers have been vague, but intriguing, and hey – Mark Walberg - can’t go wrong there.
Also happening today, the Eastern Montgomery County Relay For Life at Hatboro Horsham High School. I have been involved with this event since it started in EMC in 2000, leading teams, as a committee member and of course as a participant. Relay For Life is the reason that I am working in Real Estate today. But that is a story for another day …
Some fun CB news for today … “Coldwell Banker will launch Housetrology, a new feature accessible to Facebook users beginning June 16. This application allows users with Facebook profiles to determine their favorite home style, based on a series of questions tailored to their personal interests. The goal of Housetrology is to get consumers in the initial “dreaming” stage of the buying process to engage with the Coldwell Banker brand. Coldwell Banker is the first full service real estate company to create an application for the popular Facebook social networking site.”
The Housetrology quiz will also be available soon on the Coldwell Banker website. That’s web 2.0 at its finest! I love it.
On the Education front … exciting things are in the works! I just met with our Regional Education Director for CB and we are hammering out our plan for the 23 offices. I have tons of ideas that I am looking forward to presenting to the managers and ownership for their feedback soon.
